Lisa Perrotti-Brown: Medium garnet colored, the 2011 Asterisk
simply sings of kirsch, red roses and black raspberries with hints
of chocolate-covered cherries, lavender and bay leaves plus a hint
of powdered cinnamon. Full-bodied, the palate is all perfume and
brightness, with youthful, vivacious red berry layers and a firm,
grainy frame, finishing long and mineral laced.
