Allen Meadows: Reduction, wood and menthol make for a pungent nose. Otherwise there is excellent volume to the very round, rich and attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the lingering finish that really tightens up as it sits on the palate. Even so I suspect that this will be approachable on the younger side if desired.
