Allen Meadows: A highly expressive and gorgeously complex nosefeatures notes of menthol, dried flowers and stem hints along withplenty of spice elements. There is excellent volume and mid-palatedensity to the mouth coating medium weight plus flavors thatpossess superb depth of material that completely buffers themoderately firm tannic spine shaping the wonderfully long andimpeccably well-balanced finish. This is an incredibly good, indeedreference standard, RSV that should continue to improve for thebetter part of the next decade and last for three more after that.A bona fide 'wow' wine.
