Allen Meadows: An impressively fresh if somber nose features notes
of red and dark currant, earth and subtle sauvage hints. There is
fine detail and ample punch to the lush, even opulent medium weight
flavors that evidence a subtle minerality on the delicious and
moderately rustic finish. The tannins are sufficiently firm that
this should benefit from 5 to 7 years of cellar time.
