Allen Meadows: This is aromatically quite similar to the La Riotte with perhaps just a bit more earth influence. Otherwise there is more richness and volume to the sappy and velvet-textured flavors that also exhibit a hint of dryness though here it is noticeably more subtle and because the supporting tannins seem to be phenolically mature, there is a reasonably good chance that this will successfully age out and note that my range assumes that it will.
